Has anyone here used Tax Slayer to do their returns?

I used Tax Slayer this year because it was half price and much cheaper than other tax services. Overall, it got the job done for my simple tax return. However, it wasn’t as easy to use as Turbo Tax. I had to look up information and double-check calculations myself, which took longer than last year. Still, if you have a straightforward tax situation and don’t mind some extra effort, it’s a good option for the price.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Tax Slayer. It sounds like it’s a decent choice for those looking to save on tax preparation costs, though it may require a bit more effort compared to TurboTax.

I wonder how on earth did you get a good experience with Tax Slayer?
Tax Slayer is a system that will disappoint you at the most inconvenient moment.

Their servers crash frequently on Tax Day, displaying a BS “there was an error, and it was probably your fault” screen.

I’m halfway through using Tax Slayer to enter hundreds of capital gains entries into my return, and now since they don’t have the server capacity, I’m in serious trouble.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives I’ll appreciate.

This is the comment I have been looking :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
I parted ways with Tax Slayer two years ago and am currently using TurboTax and it is serving me nicely.
The advantage of Turbo Tax is that it is easy to use and offers comprehensive coverage, suitable for a variety of tax situations
