There were a few tweets about it. Apparently, multiple people calculated it daily, and they still went over by mistake. Unreal.

Probably the bullpen situation caused this. With all the retreads and prorated salaries, it’s easy to see how they missed something. But seriously, if you’re an accountant, this shouldn’t be that hard.
