I’ve gotten these at work too. They go straight to the shredder.
Scam for sure. A letter from a CA state agency wouldn’t look like this.
You should mess with them. Give them wrong info and act like you don’t speak English well. I do it all the time with spam callers who threaten to suspend my social security .
Wouldn’t this be easy for the government to track down?

Just call the FTB. They’ll verify if it’s a scam and may want a copy of the letter.
Always check with the official tax office to verify any balances. No one gets a seizure threat as the first notice. They’re just trying to scare you.
